Applications are open for the Schwarzman Scholars Class of 2027–2028, a fully funded one-year Master’s in Global Affairs at Tsinghua University in Beijing, China.

The U.S. and Global application opened on 8 April 2026 and closes on 9 September 2026 at 3:00 p.m. EDT.
The programme welcomes applicants from different academic disciplines and nationalities through the global route. Applicants must have completed their undergraduate degree requirements by 1 August 2027 and must be at least 18 but not yet 29 years old on that date.
Scholarship benefits
Schwarzman Scholars is fully funded and covers:
- tuition and fees;
- room and board;
- travel to and from Beijing;
- in-country study tours;
- course books and supplies;
- a laptop;
- health insurance; and
- a personal stipend.
English proficiency is required because the programme is taught in English. Applicants whose previous education meets the programme's English-medium exemption rules may not need to submit an English test.
