Sabancı University in Istanbul, Türkiye, is accepting applications from international students for its 2026/2027 undergraduate programmes.
Qualified applicants are automatically considered for admission scholarships offering tuition-fee reductions of between 25% and 75%. Some successful applicants may also receive an accommodation scholarship covering a three- or four-person room in the University’s campus dormitory.
Application deadline: 28 August 2026 at 16:00 Turkish time.
Scholarship benefits
Available undergraduate scholarship levels include:
- 25% tuition waiver;
- 40% tuition waiver;
- 50% tuition waiver;
- 60% tuition waiver;
- 75% tuition waiver; and
- possible accommodation support.
The annual tuition fee for international undergraduate students for 2026/2027 is US$36,500 before any scholarship reduction.
The scholarship is competitive, and meeting the minimum admission requirements does not guarantee a particular scholarship percentage.
Who can apply?
Applicants must generally:
- be international students eligible to apply under Türkiye’s international-student admission rules;
- be in their final year of secondary school or have already graduated;
- submit an accepted examination or diploma result;
- provide an official secondary-school transcript; and
- complete the online application before the deadline.
Sabancı University offers undergraduate programmes in:
- Engineering and Natural Sciences;
- Arts and Social Sciences; and
- Management.
Scholarship selection
There is no separate scholarship application. All eligible international applicants are automatically considered during the admission process.
The Scholarship Committee considers:
- academic performance;
- examination results;
- transcripts;
- reference letters;
- interview results;
- competition awards; and
- Olympiad or other academic-achievement certificates.
Applicants should upload all documents that demonstrate strong academic performance. Scholarships awarded at admission normally continue for the regular duration of the degree programme.

Applicants should prepare:
- an accepted examination or diploma result;
- official secondary-school transcript;
- secondary-school certificate or diploma, where available;
- English-language test result, where available;
- motivation letter;
- recommendation letter; and
- certificates showing academic or extracurricular achievements.
Documents are submitted electronically during the application.

Applicants should create an account on the official Sabancı University undergraduate application portal, complete the application form and upload the required documents.
A non-refundable US$30 application fee is required before the application can be evaluated. Successful applicants receive an offer stating the scholarship percentage awarded.
