Bocconi University in Milan, Italy, provides financial support to eligible international students admitted to its Bachelor of Science and Law programmes.
The scholarship previously known as the Bocconi Scholarship for International Students—Undergraduate is no longer presented under that name. Bocconi now provides undergraduate financial assistance mainly through the Bocconi4Access to Education scheme.
For the 2027/2028 academic year, eligible international students may be considered for tuition waivers ranging from 100% to 20%, depending mainly on their family’s assessed economic and financial situation.
Current status: Applications for 2027/2028 funding are not yet open. The first funding application window is scheduled for 12–30 November 2026.
Scholarships and tuition waivers available
100% full tuition waiver
The 100% tuition waiver provides a full exemption from Bocconi’s ordinary academic tuition and fees.
It is available to eligible international students enrolling in the first year of a:
- Bachelor of Science programme;
- Law programme; or
- eligible HEC–Bocconi double programme.
Applicants who are not awarded the full waiver because of limited resources may still be considered for another level of financial support.

80% and 60% partial tuition waivers
Bocconi4Access also offers substantial partial tuition waivers covering:
- 80% of ordinary tuition and fees; or
- 60% of ordinary tuition and fees.
Applicants do not normally submit separate applications for each percentage. Bocconi evaluates the single funding application and determines the most appropriate benefit according to the applicant’s documented family circumstances and the resources available.
40% and 20% partial tuition waivers
The Boost Your Future Scholarships provide partial tuition waivers of:
- 40%; or
- 20%.
These awards are intended for students whose families can contribute towards their education but still require significant assistance.

How Bocconi determines the award
Applicants submit one Bocconi4Access to Education application.
The University assesses the applicant’s family income, assets, household composition and supporting documentation. It then considers the applicant for the available benefits, beginning with the highest level of support.
A scholarship is not assigned solely because an applicant meets one income figure or submits one document. Bocconi considers the applicant’s overall economic and financial situation.
Funding is limited and awards are assigned until the available budget has been exhausted.
Who can apply?
The main 2027/2028 Bocconi4Access opportunities are intended for international applicants who:
- have been admitted to a first-year Bachelor’s or Law programme;
- complete the enrolment procedure;
- submit the Bocconi4Access application during the appropriate window;
- provide all required family financial documents; and
- satisfy the applicable funding rules.
International students from Nigeria, The Gambia and other countries may apply. The award is not restricted to a short list of nationalities, but applicants must satisfy the international-student and financial-assessment requirements.
Application procedure
Step 1: Apply for admission
Applicants must first apply for admission to an eligible Bachelor’s or Law programme.
For the 2027/2028 academic year, international applicants may use:
- the Bocconi Online Test;
- SAT;
- ACT; or
- the additional approved Law tests when applying specifically to Law School programmes.
Admission applications are submitted through Bocconi’s Apply2B portal.

Step 2: Receive an admission decision
The funding application cannot replace the admission application. Applicants must first be admitted and complete the required enrolment procedure.
Step 3: Complete enrolment
After receiving an admission offer, the applicant must complete the online enrolment process within the deadline stated in the admission result.
Step 4: Submit the funding application
Access to the Bocconi4Access funding application becomes available approximately two hours after the enrolment procedure has been completed.
The student and family must then submit the application and all required financial documents within the funding window corresponding to the admission round.

Admission dates for international applicants
Early Session
- Admission application: 2–29 September 2026
- Expected result: mid-November 2026
Winter Session
- Admission application: 25 November 2026–26 January 2027
- Expected result: mid-March 2027
Applicants should begin preparing for the SAT, ACT or Bocconi Online Test well before the admission window.
Bocconi4Access funding dates
Early Session and HEC first round
- Funding application: 12–30 November 2026
- Expected result: by 25 February 2027
Winter Session and HEC second round
- Funding application: 15 March–5 April 2027
- Expected result: by 27 May 2027
HEC third round
- Funding application: 27 May–4 June 2027

Scholarship renewal
Bocconi4Access benefits may be renewed for the legal duration of the programme, provided that the student meets the required academic-progress and renewal conditions.
Students should not assume that an award will continue automatically without satisfying the annual requirements.
Awarded students are also required to pay the first-instalment advance each year. Where the benefit and maintenance conditions are confirmed, the advance is generally reimbursed by the end of December of the relevant academic year.
Tuition fees
Bocconi’s ordinary tuition for first-year Bachelor’s and Law students was €17,000 for 2026/2027. The University states that the 2027/2028 amount will be confirmed separately.
Applicants should therefore check the latest tuition figure rather than relying on the previous academic year’s amount.

ISU Bocconi Scholarship
The ISU Bocconi Scholarship is a separate right-to-university-education benefit supported through the Lombardy Region and the Italian Ministry of Universities and Research.
It may include a financial grant and related services, but it has its own economic, enrolment, merit and application requirements.
The complete 2027/2028 ISU Bocconi Scholarship information is expected by the end of October 2026. This article will be updated when the new regulations and deadlines are published.
A limited second application window for the 2026/2027 ISU Scholarship is scheduled for 24 August–4 September 2026, but it is available only to applicants whose ISEE/ISEEU or ISPE/ISPEU indicators fall within the narrow ranges specified by Bocconi. It is not a general reopening for all applicants.
Other forms of support
Depending on their circumstances, students may also find:
- disability-related tuition waivers;
- support for simultaneously enrolled siblings;
- the Women Award;
- sports scholarships;
- international mobility grants; and
- student-loan arrangements.
Applicants should use the main funding directory to identify only those opportunities that match their circumstances.
