ASUU strike continues following rejection of the FG proposal to spend 200billion naira annually to raise standard of university education in the country.
ASUU insisted that the FG should fully implement the 2009 agreement which it voluntarily entered into.
Part of that agreement was for FG to spend 400billion naira annually over a period of four years on education much of which would be allocated to universities to improve infrastructures among other things.
