Freerice.com is an ambitious fund raising effort of the United Nation 's World Food Programme that aims to raise fund to achieve the dual goal of providing free education and an end to world hunger by providing rice to (needing) people.
The site is ad supported, it thus require online traffic like all ad displaying site. To turn in traffic, the site has a free-to-play online game that keeps players engaged while ads are displayed. The game allow players to select a subject from which to answer multi-choice questions. For every question answered correctly, the player is able to donate 10grains of rice that goes to feed someone.
There is no limit to how much rice an individual can donate, you can even create a group where you can invite friends, classmates, families and an entire community to join or simply join an existing group to increase how much rice is donated.
